Negation n Command

Let us learn how to negate a sentence.

I will come - Me Caa me (மே சா மே )...just add a 'na' (ந) (न) immediately preceding the verb.
Me Na caa me (மே ந சா மே) symbol is given below. Add a x mark immediately preceding the symbol.

To command, for example, Go, See, eat. you will have to use the verb .

for example,  Ka tu (you eat)
Ca tu (you go)
 Pa tu (you See)

symbol would be an infinity symbol before the main symbol. example is given below.

Questions

Let's take a familiar sentence to us..'I GO'...(Me Ca Me)How to make it a question sentence? 'Do I go'. Just add a 'O' in the beginning.

O Me Ca me (ஓ மே ச மே )(ओ मे च मे ). For the symbol of O we will re-use the familiar question mark
?. So in our language, question mark shall be placed in the beginning of the question.

 -Will you go

Now introducing few more verbs
(for senses)

I see - Me Pa me      (மே  ப மே )   (मे प मे )
I hear - Me Pi me      (மே  பி மே ) (मे  पि मे )
I smell - Me Pu me    (மே பு மே )   (मे पु मे )
I talk - me Pe me       (மே பெ மே ) (मे  पे मे )
I feel - Me Po me      (மே பொ மே ) (मे पो मे )

symbol is given below for all variations.

Now, for sense organs we will modify their corresponding verbs.

Eye - to see -Pa Paa - பபா
Nose - to smell -Pu poo- புபூ
Ear - to hear -Pi pee -பிபீ
mouth - to talk -pe Pe -பெபே

Usage of three tenses.

We now take up a simple verb Go which is already defined . 'Ca' . Remember its symbol??? ah?
I go - Me Ca Me (மே ச மே ) (मे च मे ) means I go. Simple present tense

Now for I went and I will go ..

Me Ja Me - I went - the soft form of ca is Ja   - मे ज मे - மே ஜ மே

Me Caa Me - I wil go - extend Ca and we will get Caa  - मे चा मे -மே சா மே

And, what about symbol? simple...we have defined a symbol for I go already. Now simply place a dot above it which means I went. Place a dot below it which means I will go...:)

See below....

This rule will be invariably same for all other verbs, of course there will be some exceptions. I mean, for example, if there is a word corresponding to a verb, say run , and it is defined as ,say, Ra. I run means Me ra me.so there is no soft form for Ra. so what do we say for I ran? for I will run no problem. it is Me Raa me.
what to say for I ran? Think....:):):):):)

now, we will invent a verb for EAT. it is KA.what would be the symbol? :) for eating? just place a mouth (Stroke) inside the head (round)...:):)

 Me ka me means I eat. மே க மே -मे  क मे
Me ga me means I ate - மே க3 மே -मे  ग मे
Me kaa me means I will eat.-மே  கா  மே -मे का मे

similarly Thu ka thu means you eat - தூ க தூ
Thu ga thu means you ate-தூ க3 தூ
Thu kaa thu means you will eat- தூ கா தூ

See below for all variations ...

The three tenses

Hmm..What do we call tense in our language? literally time? we will reuse the indian term 'Kal' ...(கால் )
(काल )

past tense -kAl gatam                          -काल गतम - கால் கதம்
Present tense -kAl etam                       -काल इतम - கால் இதம்
Future tense -kAl Bavam or Bhavam    -काल भवं  - கால் ப4வம்

symbol for time would be a vertical half stroke inside a circle.(literally a clock showing 12 noon)

A dot above any symbol would represent the past tense of it. A dot below, future tense of it. (which pictorially means that past tense is beyond our head and cannot be controlled ; future is still beneath our feet so we have a little control over it. Following figure shows the pictorial representation of three tenses.)

We would define continuous and perfect tenses a little later. now this post is gatam gatam :P

Numbers...

Lets make the numbers really simple in our language. no specific symbols..just reuse 1,2,3....

We will have names for 0 to 9 only. To utter a number, just say the digits together. For example, 356 means
three five six. 15998 means one five nine nine eight

1- - ट -ta -ட
2-  टा -taa -டா
3- टि -ti -டி
4- टी -tee -டீ
5- टु -tu -டு
6- टू -too -டூ
7- टे -te -டெ
8- टे -tE -டே
9- टो -to -டொ
0-  tai  -டை

to say hundred, say one zero zero which is Ta tai tai (ட டை டை)
Now,

First  -Tra  - ட்ர
Second -Traa -ட்ரா
Third -Tri -ட்ரி
Fourth -Tree -ட்ரீ
Fifth -Tru -ட்ரு
Sixth -Troo -ட்ரூ
Seventh -Tre -ட்ரெ
8th-TrE -ட்ரே
9th -Tro -ட்ரொ
Tenth -Trai -ட்ரை
Eleventh -Ta Tra -ட ட்ர
12th -Ta Traa- ட ட்ரா
13th -Ta Tri - ட ட்ரி
etc...

Now we have a new way of defining large numbers. For example 1000. which is one and three zeros.
if we say one three zero. it will be conflict with 130. so we can say 1 and third order of zero. which is
Ta Tri tai (ட ட்ரி டை ). For 10,000 : one and fourth order of zero. Ta Tree tai (ட ட்ரீ  டை) which is equivalent to saying Ta tai tai tai tai (ட டைடைடை)which is irritating ...So for large numbers, which have repeating digits we can use this short form.

take a number 3456. It can be pronounced in many ways.

 Ti Tee Tu Too....(டி டீ டு டூ) or

say 3000 first and 456 next.

Ti Tri tai (டி ட்ரி டை ) Tee Tu Too ( டீ டு டூ)  or டி ட்ரி டை டீ டு டூ

Or

3000 first 400 next then 56

Ti Tri tai tee Traa tai Tu Too  டி ட்ரி டை டீ ட்ரா டை  டு டூ

Or

3000 first 400 next 50 next then 6

Ti Tri tai tee Traa Tai Tu Tra tai too  -டி ட்ரி டை டீ ட்ரா டை  டு  ட்ர டை டூ.

Sounds funny ...:) so for a large number like 65789627 we can say

too tre tai tu Troo tai te tru tai tE Tree tai To Tri tai too Traa Tai Taa Tra tai te
டூட்ரெடை டுட்ரூடை டெ ட்ருடை  டே ட்ரீடை டொ ட்ரி டை டூட்ரா டை டாட்ர டைடெ

Now Give a break to your tongue...:P
See you in another post!:O

[Note: 71111 can be pronounced as seven with fourth order of 1's .which is te tree ta. டெ ட்ரீ ட )
instead of seven one one one one. te ta ta ta ta ....

[Note: to say 12th, tra traa, write 12 and use a || symbol. double vertical strokes.

11 || -11th
12 || -12th ]

First Verb 'Go'

I have a symbol in mind for 'GO'..  Write the symbol for 'I' . and just add a stroke in the right side. (which
would mean that I go. This does not mean I'm going. (we will define these tenses later)......the name might be 'Ca' (ச  ) (च )

Following table shows the usage of go.

I go -मे च मे - மே  ச மே
You go - तू  च तू  , ते च ते -தூ ச தூ - தே ச தே
They go - वे च वे -வே ச வே
He goes - वा च वा - வா ச வா
She goes -वी च वी  -வீ ச வீ
We go - वै च वै - வை ச வை

You might wonder why it is Me Ca Me (मे च मे ) instead of just Me Ca (मे च). we will make our language a little bit poetic :) . Me CA Me sounds poetic than just Me Ca.

We have to define 'it' also now... 'It' will represent inanimate (neither muscular nor feminine) (பாலற்ற பொருட்கள்) objects. Let's not get into the problem of defining gender to objects (as in Hindi) in our language. It - Tho - तो -தோ

It goes - Tho CA tho - तो च तो -தோ ச தோ

symbol is below:

Thank U ....

Reader's Suggestion -1

Readers,

Please suggest a symbol and a name for LOVE...:)
[Like you can say KAm...காம்...]
symbol and name should be short. Symbol should be derivable from circles and lines.

Starting with 'I'

We will now set few symbols and names for Personal pronouns.

 I- மே
You - தூ  , தே
He - வா
She  - வீ
They - வே

We - வை

Let's set a symbol and name for 'AND'. we will reuse the popular computer symbol for AND

& - And - Ja  -ஜா (derived from 'Joint'). Now,

Our first Sentence in our language :):)  He and she -Va Ja Vee
(வா ஜா வீ). It will be written as follows:

Me and You - Me Ja Thu -(மீ ஜா தூ)

Introduction

Welcome Readers!  You, along with me, shall learn a new language (yet unnamed) from this blog.  Suggestions are welcome. This is just a try. Not in competition of Esperanto...:)
